6.9 ATTACHING A NEW DOCUMENT 

The  button in Figure 30 will first activate the document creation page, Figure 16, and then automatically attach the newly created document.

6.10 ATTACHING EXISTING DOCUMENT

The  button is used to attach an existing document to the current node, in the example the current node in Figure 30 is called "EDMS Web upgrades". A page to help you search for existing documents is generated when clicking the button, Figure 31. In this example we will search for a document with a title containing the string “web guide”.

The result of the search for any documents having the words “web guide” in its title brings up a long list of documents, Figure 32. Please note that the search will not return any documents already attached to the current node.

and then activating at the bottom of the page will link the selected document(s) to the current structure node, Figure 33, with a 'success' confirmation page generated, Figure 34
